Get to Know Me

Hi all! I am Kelly and founder of My Charmed Story!  I am the wife of Ryan and mom of Andrew, Chloe, Lily and Thomas. After becoming a SAHM, for the second time, I decided to start this blog to connect with others. From the beginning, I wanted to grow this blog into a community for families. While I love sharing my experiences and stories with others, I feel in order to grow as a person you must open up and let others in.  

I like to share about the crafts that I make, my children, teaching, our debt free journey, and what life is like with two children who have PKU (phenylketonuria).  It took me quite a while before I could spell phenylketonuria, not to mention how to pronounce it!

Our two oldest are in college and I am homeschooling our two youngest kiddos!  I love sharing what I have used in the classroom as well as what I'm using to teach our youngest.  You can find all of my school items in my Teachers Pay Teachers site.  

I love the journey.  I'm all about exploring new places, seeing our amazing world and capturing my experiences.  My Charmed Story is a place for me to write about my journey and share it with you.  Through this blog you'll be able to experience everything right along with me.  Whether it's backpacking through New Mexico with Venture Crew, visiting Rome with Girl Scouts, camping in the backyard with the littles, or trying new low protein foods.  I hope that our journey together inspires you to start your own path of adventure.
